Guidelines for the Students
While entering the institution pay due respect saying “Assalamu- Alaikum” to all faculty members and those who are senior in age.
] Before entering NMSC ensure the following:
1. Shoes are cleaned and polished.
2. Dress is clean, tidy and ironed properly.
3. Have a proper haircut and well brushed.
4. Boys’ hair size (The hair length is 2-6 inch by machine)
5. Girls’ hair is tied with white ribbon in two pony tails braided.
6. Girls are not allowed to wear ear top, any fancy watch and hair clips.
7. Only ear ring is allowed for the girls.
8. Nails of the finger are properly trimmed.
9. Have a bath every morning and have a proper brush of teeth.
10. PT marks is given without notice. So to be in a proper uniform is must.
] Before joining class ensure the following:
1. Have prepared your lessons for the day.
2. Have completed the home assignments.
3. Have been signed the diary by your parent.
4. Have books and other things according to the routine.
] While using wash room, ensure:
1. Use the wash room earmarked for respective class.
2. Have flushed it before leaving the toilet.
3. If it is not cleaned by flushing, make sure that enough water is poured and got it cleaned.
4. No sprinkle water in the wash room is used to avoid accident.
] Addressing to the Senior Students:
1. To male students - (Bhaiya)
2. To female students-(Apu)
3. Male students must be very formal with their female classmates. Under any circumstances no one can afford to be funny with them. The relationship with them will be cordial but formal. They should be treated like your own sisters. Any complaint from any girl will be dealt with seriously.
] Behavior with classmates, seniors & juniors:
1. Remember, that students from different backgrounds & from different areas of the country are the classmates.
2. Every human being is different from others, somebody may be emotional, irritable or unsocial but everyone should try to behave ideally.
3. The juniors will be respectful to the seniors and the seniors will be affectionate to the little ones.
4. For minor things do not start quarrelling.
5. Remember, beating, grouping & hooliganism can never solve any problem, rather it breeds / prolongs the problem. So this is absolutely forbidden in this school.
6. For any problem in the school - may it be a misunderstanding with any classmate or any problem of oneself - bring it to the knowledge of the form teacher.
] NMSC Property:
Ensure the following to save the NMSC property:
1. No one can cause any damage to the asset of the institution. Any damage to properties of the institution will be considered as punishable offence.
2. Switch off the fans & lights before leaving the classroom.
3. Own desk should be kept clean.
4. For any odd situation inform office.
] Personal Properties:
1. Take care of your personal properties like (a) Bag, (b) Pen, (c) Books, (d) Calculator, (e) Wristwatch, etc.
2. Keep all these items inside the bag under lock and key.
3. In case of loosing personal belongings-owner to be punished for negligence of duties. Be vigilant and careful so that personal belongings are not missing.
] Tiffin Break:
1. Bring your Tiffin from home. Consume it in your classroom.
2. In case of not bringing Tiffin from home, you may get the same from NMSC canteen at a reasonable price.
3. When you enter the canteen, stand in the queue and wait for your turn. Don’t break the line.
4. If you have any suggestions about the canteen, bring it to the knowledge of the school captain/form teacher.
] School Attendance:
1. 100% attendance in the class is compulsory for every student.
2. Anyway less than that will be viewed negatively.
3. More than 7 days’ absence in a term will be the cause of the deduction of PT marks
] Examinations:
1. There will be class tests, monthly tests and term end examinations. Each Examination is compulsory for every student.
2. Any student missing 03 Examinations consecutively shall be considered as failed.
3. Any student adopting any unfair means shall be given TC without any prior notice.
4. Each student must obtain requisite marks in each exam as per promotion policy.
] Home Study
1. Must cover the lesson which will be imparted on the next day.
2. Must study at least 06 hours a day.
3. Don’t keep any work pending.
] Behaviour during the class:
1. Be attentive.
2. Clear your doubts during the class.
3. Don’t disturb others.
4. Carry books regularly.
5. Take a seat as per class teacher’s/captain’s direction.
6. No smoking inside or outside of the campus, having no betel leaf or keeping such type of unwanted products with him/her is strictly forbidden.
7. Writing something nonsense on the desk, white board, wall, in bathroom etc. and keeping footprints will be considered as an offence.
8. Keeping mobile phone, MP3/earphone, cassette, CD, laser lighter, camera, colourful sunglass, non-textual book, cricket ball or bat, tennis ball, hockey stick, badminton racket, toy etc. are not allowed inside the school.
9. No political discussion/involvement is allowed inside or outside the school campus.
10. Five times prayer is mandatory for the Muslim students.
11. The students of other religions will practice their respective religions
] Clubs & Societies:
The following clubs & societies are in function:
1. Language club
2. Science club
3. Computer club
4. Music club
5. Arts & crafts club
6. English literary club
Clubs & societies are conducted on every Thursday for the students of all the classes excepting class PEC, JSC, SSC, HSC
] Games & Sports/Co-curricular Activities:
1. Attendance in games & sports is compulsory for all.
2. Attendance in co-curricular activities is compulsory for all.
3. Facilities for the following games are available.
(i) Cricket and Football
(ii) Volleyball
(iii) Handball
(iv) Basketball
] Visiting NMSC
No student will come to the School on holidays without prior permission of Principal.
] Friends or relations:
Friends or relations are not allowed to enter NMSC both during and after the working hours.
